Sea Island 2013

Our week in Sea Island was so much fun!  Owen will probably never eat another jar of baby food now that he's been introduced to all sorts of yummy things like fried-macaroni-and-cheese.  He loved all of the attention from his sister and cousins!  Samuel is such a beach bum...he alternated between digging in the sand and wanting to run into the ocean to get his feet wet!  He wasn't content long just sitting in the pool - he wanted to jump off the side like Avery, Eli and Lucy.  Avery really does "swim like a fish!"  She navigated between playing "house" with Samuel, "wild hyenas" with Eli and American Girl dolls with Lucy.  Eli took his two previous months of swimming lessons, challenged himself, and impressed us all!  He continues to love nature and was so excited each time we spotted a crab (dead or alive) and kept us laughing with his many facts, questions and his most-frequent phrase "do you have a guess?"  Lucy spent most of her pool-time underwater and loved playing "under the sea tea party" with Avery!  She loves to take care of her cousins and siblings - we are so thankful for her kindness and leadership! 

The kiddos keep us busy - and laughing a lot!  We did have a few moments for golf (guys), spa (ladies) and paddle-boarding (Amy and me...with no life-jackets and no formal instruction...very, very fun!)  Thank you, Mom & Dad, for a super week!
