In January...

 We listened to "Gratitude" by Nicole Nordemon;  "Heavenly Day" by Patty Griffin; and "Stuck Like Glue" by Sugarland.  

We read Katy and the Big Snow by Virginia Lee Burton; LMNO Peas by Keith Baker; and Tickle Monster by Josie Bissett

We cheered when the snow was cleared and Lucy could go to school for "Pajama Day"...they studied the letter "P", wore their pajamas, and ate pizza and peaches...she was thrilled!  

We laughed at Eli's bed-head!

They ate about 375 mini-mashmallows (and drank a little hot chocolate...through a straw for Eli!) 

I ate about 375 Conversations Hearts while we decorated cupcakes. 

We relaxed in our pajamas A LOT...it snowed, schools were closed and we stayed home...and repeated everything listed above...it was good. 

Elmo + Lightning McQueen = a VERY Happy Birthday!

Eli's birthday has been well-celebrated!  We enjoyed pizza and Elmo cupcakes with Mom, Dad, Amy, Matt, Avery, Andy and Lauren in Charlotte.  Then, had brunch and petit-fours here with Kay, Fred, Kelly and Nancy.  Eli had a wonderful time and now answers any question you ask him with "2!". 

And, Lucy is making sure all that sugar doesn't rest on Eli's hips...check out his workout!

Avery turned 1 last Friday - January 7th!  

She is such a fun girl - never still, lots of babbling, eats whatever you put in front of her, and has a wonderful laugh!  She celebrated her birthday in Florida over Christmas with Matt's family and with us last weekend in Charlotte...
