We love to start our Saturday mornings with breakfast at Chick-Fil-A...

Then, we decided after months of "she" references to Eli because of his beautiful, curly locks, that it was time for a little trim. So, Eli and Lucy both got haircuts. The haircut itself is pretty basic, but the glitter and braid that make it a lot of fun for a three-year old.

Here's a "before" shot of Eli's hair...it is like a pregnant belly, people seem drawn to the kinda-red curls and like to touch them.

Becky, the lady who cuts their hair, has an 8-year old son who recently asked to shave his head, so she was all nostalgic that Eli is still a "baby" so his haircut shouldn't be too mature. She didn't totally cut off the curls and it still goes over his ears. I love it...Chris think we could've taken off a little more...to get our money's worth I guess. I think it looks a little Phil Mickelson-ish...kinda shaggy still, but good.

We also made a quick trip to our storage unit...which is really fun if you get to ride on the cart.

Eli has had a rough week...he tipped over his chair earlier in the week and slammed his face into the wall. Then, on Saturday afternoon, he seriously underestimated the distance to the coffee table and hit it nose first...ouch. The new haircut is cute, but its the scrapes and bruises that are gathering comments now.

Here he is trying to open the door to go outside...

Our friends came over on Sunday evening for Bible Study...Chris and I enjoy the fellowship with Jenny & Eric and Amanda & Kevin. Our kiddos (Ava, Parker, Maggie Mayer and our two) have a blast together!
