Christmas in Charlotte

We packed a ton of stuff (Christmas presents, baby stuff, and all sorts of entertainment) in a rented Explorer to make the drive to Charlotte! I decided it would be better to sit between Eli and Lucy instead of in the front seat where it would be harder for me to get to them. That idea was awesome...Eli was pretty content to gaze at me for eight hours and Lucy and I watched Christmas videos together. They were fussy once and I whipped out Chris' Blackberry and let them watch Beyonce's Single Ladies video on YouTube...instant awe and carseat-dancing!

Once we got to Charlotte, we enjoyed all sorts of delicious sweets and Christmas fun!

Christmas Morning

We had so much fun opening our gifts! Lucy got a working microphone, headset and guitar...you'll see it was fun for all ages! She also got a camera and enjoyed taking pictures (and showing them to you!) the rest of the day! She was opening one gift and pulled out one boot...she closely examined it...then, put pulled out the other boot and said "look, there is another one!" She was honestly shocked to find TWO boots!

Christmas Afternoon

We went over to Lauren and Andy's townhouse on Christmas afternoon to open presents and eat yummy snacks with the Wyatt Family! We were lucky to see both families on Christmas Day!

Christmas Evening

We had dinner back at Amy and Matt's on Christmas night. Here's the table...it was such a fun day! Many thanks to Amy and Matt for hosting our festivities!
