Starring Lu!

Lucy has had a big week!  On Wednesday night, she had her Spring choir concert.  She's loved going to choir practice every Wednesday and she constantly plays "choir" at home...always walking around with a clipboard and she talks using a much deeper voice (because she's the Director, of course!)  Her choir sang "Happy All the Time", "The Butterfly Song", "God Said It" and "Go In Peace."

On Thursday evening she had her Spring program at school!  The theme was "The Circus" and Lucy was one of the tightrope walkers...she loved that she got to wear her "dance outfit" and has been talking about the baton they used for weeks!  At home we read "Mirette On the High Wire" by Emily Arnold McCully and she's been practicing by walking across our chairs.  At both performances, she always looked around to spot her cheering section...we had such fun watching her enjoy herself!
